Barbara, AKA the Social Media Boomer – is known as an early adopter of Internet marketing and now is on the cutting edge of social media as a marketing and business building strategy.
Barbara is passionate about helping others (especially boomers) she demystifies and simplifies social media and also provides implementation as a hands on consultant with a team that sets up and manages all of your social media needs such as Twitter, Facebook and Blogs.

Her social media clients include highly successful entrepreneurs, coaches and speakers.
When Barbara moved to Canada from England she was computer illiterate, and was not able to get the mouse to go where she wanted it to go. Well she has come a long way! From an early age Barbara has always been able to rise up to a challenge and learning about computers was no exception. The passion for Internet marketing started when she learned to promote her corporate website. This became a hobby which then developed into a stream of income for her business as she grew proficient in the intricacies of the ever-changing world of the Internet. Barbara has been teaching different aspects of online marketing for the past four years and has started an Internet Marketing company Beyond Better Web Solutions. Her knowledge of Social Media began as a part of Internet marketing and Barbara soon realized Social Media is not going away. Social Media, although still in its infancy, has a huge potential as a tool for quickly increasing branding, researching markets trends and a profit stream for business and so far is relatively untapped. As a fellow boomer she is passionate about helping other boomers to overcome any fear or resistance to social media.
Barbara became a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers in 2006. Around that time she also auditioned to contract with an international training company and was hired on the spot. Barbara has been across North America presenting seminars for them as well as for her own clients.
